Walking on Trees

Impress your clients and partners with a “Walk on Trees”. In the Anykščiai forest, there is a Treetop Walking Path which is the only of its kind in the entire region of Baltic countries. The path stretches to over 300 m hights through the treetops and goes up to a height of 35 m at the viewing tower. The guests and visitors get a chance to experience the journey as it begins at the Puntukas stone and they climb up the hill to the Treetop Walking Path to rise from the ground to the height of 21 m on the tree canopy.

Water tourism

After a conference or meetings guests are invited to enjoy water tourism or relaxing pastime in the city that boasts having vast lakes and rivers. Largest lake – Rubikiai – has 16 islands and hosts the traditional sailing regatta that occurs during the St. John festival. The resort area also has rivers with Šventoji being the biggest that runs through the city of Anykščiai.

Anykščiai Regional Park

As a part of incentive programs guests are invited to visit Anykščiai Regional Park. The park covers about 15,485 hectares and was founded in 1992 to preserve natural and cultural areas of the city. There are significant historic sites such as the Horse Museum and the Burbiškis Estate. There is also a narrow-gauge railway located within the vicinity of the park that adds to its uniqueness and ability to attract both local and international tourists. The park also hosts cultural landmarks that include the home of the author Antanas Baranauskas.
